# Diagnostic sensors

> Check HA Link's entity counts and connection details.

HA Link adds diagnostic sensors for **Linked entities**, **Available entities**, and each selected connection route.

  <Step title="Find HA Link's sensors">
    Open **Settings → Devices & services**, select **HA Link**, and open its device. Find the diagnostic entities and select one to see its details.

  <Step title="Read the counts">
    **Linked entities** counts the distinct entities in your workspace. **Available entities** excludes entities with no state or an unknown or unavailable state.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Check a route">
    Open a route's entity-count sensor to see its attributes. **configured** means an integration entry exists, **loaded** means at least one entry loaded, and **available\_entities** shows the available count.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Allow time for an update">
    The enabled diagnostic sensors refresh their local inventory about every 30 seconds. After a connection changes, allow the next update before comparing counts.

  These counts help you spot a missing or unavailable connection. They count entities, not physical devices, and exclude hidden or disabled entities.

  A loaded integration does not guarantee every device is reachable. Check individual entity states when investigating a problem.
